ATL Partners announced today the acquisition of two industry leaders—SkyMark and Rampmaster—with plans to integrate the pair into a premier global platform focused on specialty vehicle equipment, catering to the aviation and ground support equipment (GSE) sectors.
SkyMark stands out as a top-tier manufacturer of aircraft refueling trucks, hydrant dispensers, and other transportation-focused specialty vehicles. Complementing its capabilities, Rampmaster is a leading designer and producer of aviation refueling solutions, serving both commercial and general aviation markets. This strategic combination leverages the unique strengths of each brand to build a comprehensive offering for the sector.
The newly formed platform will center its focus on high-growth areas, including aviation solutions, refueling systems, and the broader GSE market—segments identified by ATL as ripe for expansion.
Caleb Clark, Senior Partner at ATL Partners and leader of the transaction, emphasized the synergistic value of the deal: “Bringing SkyMark and Rampmaster together is a transformative step. Both businesses boast blue-chip client rosters, diversified end markets, and highly complementary capabilities—all of which will form the backbone of a scaled leader serving the aviation, environmental, rail, and specialty equipment sectors.”
Clark added that ATL aims to drive growth alongside the existing management teams, stating: “We’re committed to partnering with SkyMark and Rampmaster’s leadership to expand product and service lines, deepen customer relationships, and pursue strategic acquisitions that enhance our market position.”
This acquisition aligns with ATL’s thematic investment strategy, which first identified the GSE market as a high-potential opportunity two years ago. “We’ve had a clear strategic vision for this space, and today we’re excited to bring it to fruition,” Clark noted.
