  • The new ARFF fire station at DFW Airport has been officially put into use
    The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) has officially launched a brand-new eastern aircraft rescue and fire fighting (ARFF) station. This modernization project of the airport cost over 130 million US dollars and is part of the DFW Forward renovation plan. It received over 75 million US dollars in federal funding. The project integrates the original four fire stations into two centralized sites, replacing two old fire stations that have been in operation for over 50 years. The western fire station will be put into use within the year.   • Strong Winds Caused The Ground Equipment To Lose Control, Damaging Three Boeing Aircraft of Air India

The ownership of the equipment is in dispute. Some sources claim it involves the Indian Airlines Engineering Department and the Indigo Airlines Engineering Department, but Indigo has denied this.
