Global leader in step-free, non-slip aircraft boarding ramps Aviramp is on track to exceed £10 million in annual sales, buoyed by a highly successful third quarter. From July to September, the firm secured deals with nine airports and operators, headlined by a nearly £500,000 contract with US airline Delta Airlines. This strong performance puts Aviramp in position to shatter its pre-pandemic annual sales record, with CEO Graham Corfield noting that around 750 of its innovative ramps are now in use worldwide.
Delta’s latest order covers three Continental ramps, one International model and one Regional model, adding to its 10-unit purchase in April; in total, Aviramp will supply the carrier with 10 Continentals, 4 Regionals and 1 International ramp for deployment across the Caribbean and northern South America, upgrading infrastructure and cutting airport turnaround times while enhancing passenger experience. The quarter also included a £525,000 contract with Australia’s Sunshine Coast Airport for four Solar Continental ramps, a deal with Australian budget carrier Jetstar for the same model, as well as ramp deliveries to clients in Canada, Algeria, the UK and Belize.
CEO Graham Corfield highlighted that Aviramp’s products address two critical aviation industry challenges: sustainability and passenger experience. Its solar-powered ramps run all day on a single charge and adapt to harsh climates, while the low-angled, non-slip ramps ensure safe, dignified boarding for all passengers – including those with reduced mobility – replacing traditional stairs and separate ambulifts for remote stand aircraft. A recipient of the Queen’s Award for International Trade, Aviramp continues to lead in accessible, efficient aircraft boarding solutions.
