Fusion Processing and Construct have jointly invested to create the next-generation airport bus

Fusion Processing and Construct Invest are partnering to deploy fully autonomous Level 4 electric airport buses, integrating Fusion’s CAVstar Automated Drive System for cost and sustainability benefits.

Field-tested over 90,000km, CAVstar cuts operational costs by 30% and energy use by 7%. It also replaces on-board drivers with remote operators, boosting efficiency and resource management.

Additional benefits include enhanced safety (reducing human error), lower fuel consumption, and less tyre/brake wear—key for airports prioritizing reliability and cost-effectiveness.
