Oshkosh Airport Products recently delivered two Striker 6×6 Airfoil-specific fire engines (ARFF) to Montreal Metropolitan Airport (MET). The airport, formerly known as Montreal Saint-Hubert Airport, is currently in a stage of upgrading and transformation, with the goal of becoming a major domestic aviation hub in Canada.
The newly purchased Striker 6×6 will significantly enhance the emergency response capability of MET and meet its annual demand for receiving over a million passengers. This batch of vehicles is provided by L 'Arsenal, an authorized dealer of Oshkosh in Quebec. Alexandre Seguin, the sales manager of L 'Arsenal, said that they have been cooperating with MET for a long time and are committed to providing tailor-made fire protection solutions.
Pierre-Luc Clement, the maintenance manager of the MET team, added that the choice of the Oshkosh brand was based on its good reputation, strong service network, and comprehensive support for safety and regulatory compliance.
