NAHCO has clinched two significant multi-year ground handling contracts, solidifying its position as a leading aviation services provider in Nigeria.
Under the terms of the agreements, NAHCO will provide ground handling services for Afrijet’s flights operating between Port Harcourt and Lagos for a three-year period, running until 2027. Separately, Air Sierra Leone has signed a five-year contract with NAHCO, entrusting the company with handling services in Lagos through 2029.
Prince Saheed Lasisi, Group Executive Director of Commercial & Business Development at NAHCO, emphasized the company’s commitment to industry-leading standards. “Our team of professional and experienced staff has continued to set the benchmark which guides ground handling operations in Nigeria,” he stated. Lasisi also extended assurances to both Afrijet and Air Sierra Leone, noting, “We assure them that they have made the best choice any airline could have made. We welcome them to a smooth and fascinating experience.”
Olumuyiwa Olumekun, Group Managing Director and CEO of NAHCO, echoed this focus on service excellence. “Quality of service is essential. We cannot afford to give our valued clients any cause to complain. We are on top of this game for the long term,” he added.
The new contracts mark a key milestone for NAHCO, as they underscore the company’s steady progress toward its goal of managing nearly all ground operations for international flights arriving and departing Nigeria.
