SAASA previously announced that it would invest 4.2 million US dollars in TLD to purchase ground support equipment (GSE). The related equipment will be delivered in two batches. Among them, the first batch of 20 pieces of equipment (valued at 2.2 million US dollars) will be delivered this year, and the remaining 10 pieces of equipment (valued at 2 million US dollars) are planned to be delivered next year. Currently, SAASA has successfully received the first piece of equipment, and the subsequent delivery work will be carried out in accordance with the plan.
It is reported that during this year, the equipment that SAASA will receive successively covers multiple categories, including: 1 TWT NB/TMX-150-15 type tugboat, 8 JST-25-LPG type tractors, 2 TPX-200-MTX B777 type tow-free towing vehicles without tow ropes, 1 TXL-838-WID type lower deck diesel loader equipped with ASD system, 3 AERO 2001104 type electric boarding ladder, 3 GPU-409-E-CUP type ground power vehicle with 90 kilovolt-ampere capacity, and 1 GPU-414-E-CUP type ground power vehicle with 140 kilovolt-ampere capacity, and 1 ASU-600-270-DUP type pneumatic starter.
The delivery list for next year is also rich, including 3 NBL-E-MK2-HIS type mixed conveyors, 2 NBL-LPG type conveyors equipped with ASD system, 1 TMX-450-50 TWT WB type tugboat, 3 TXL-838-WID type lower deck mixed loaders equipped with ASD system, and 1 ACU-802S-CUP type air conditioning equipment.
The CEO of SAASA, Enrique Vargas, highly praised this equipment purchase. He emphasized: "SAASA is very satisfied with this equipment procurement. These are all advanced equipment with high precision performance in terms of telemetry technology and proximity sensors. Especially the loading machines and boarding ladders, their advanced technical configuration will effectively enhance the safety of aircraft operations."
