According to the cooperation agreement, TCR will provide ground support equipment (GSE) services for JetBlue's operations at three key airports, and more airports have been identified for inclusion in the future promotion plan. This cooperation involves incorporating some of JetBlue's existing GSE assets into TCR's full-service leasing program, while TCR will also provide maintenance and repair services.
To support this cooperation, TCR plans to expand its business layout in the North American region in the coming months, including setting up an additional hangar-side maintenance workshop at Boston Logan International Airport, as well as building new maintenance workshops at Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport and Orlando International Airport. It is expected that more airport locations will be added in the second half of this year.
TCR stated that this partnership will enhance the availability, reliability and safety of ground equipment, enabling it to support the daily operation of over 500 JetBlue flights. TCR will provide equipment leasing and maintenance services, aiming to improve ground operation efficiency and the overall performance of the fleet.
This collaboration also helps JetBlue achieve its long-term sustainable development goals, including promoting the modernization and electrification of the GSE fleet. TCR stated that its flexible leasing model and capital expenditure efficiency advantages will help accelerate the equipment upgrade process while maintaining operational resilience.
Stephanie Rajzbaum, the Managing Director of TCR in the Americas, said: "We are honored to be a trusted GSE partner of JetBlue in North America. This collaboration reflects both parties' shared commitment to operational excellence, and demonstrates how TCR transforms operational challenges into practical, flexible and forward-looking solutions."
