Aviator Airport Alliance, as a comprehensive aviation service provider for 15 airports in the Nordic region and a member of the Avia Solutions Group, has extended its partnership with Wizz Air.
According to this renewed agreement, Aviator Airport Alliance will continue to provide passenger services, apron handling, and deicing services for the next three years.
This agreement covers three Nordic airports, namely Copenhagen Airport (CPH), Gothenburg Landvetter Airport (GOT), and Malmö Airport (MMX).
At Copenhagen Airport, the flights covered by this contract include destinations such as Budapest, Belgrade, Gdansk, Warsaw, and Bucharest.
On these routes, Wizz Air operates over 1,800 flights annually, with its fleet consisting of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.
In Sweden, this extended contract means approximately 1,500 flights take off and land each year, with the operations at Gothenburg and Malmö airports being almost evenly distributed.
The Chief Executive Officer of Aviator Airport Alliance, Jo Alex Tanem, emphasized: "We are proud of our partnership with Wizz Air. It is particularly noteworthy that the collaboration between the two parties has successfully continued for ten years in today's highly competitive environment, which is truly remarkable."
He also stated: "Wizz Air is an important airline with 800 routes covering nearly 200 destinations in Europe and beyond. To be involved in their success is a great honor for us."
Grzegorz Michalec, the Ground Operations Manager of Wizz Air, said: "Throughout the ten-year partnership, Aviator Airport Alliance has repeatedly demonstrated their professionalism and ability to provide high-quality services."
"The development of modern aviation relies on the quality of all processes, and our partners have consistently demonstrated a commitment to responsibility and an attitude of hard work."
"We are fully confident that our productive cooperation will continue successfully for the next three years and beyond."
This new contract will extend the total duration of the partnership to 12 years.
