  • BGS and Viz Air have announced the extension of their refueling service cooperation agreement. This renewal continues the partnership that began in 2011 (lasting for 14 years) between the two parties, covering all business segments of Viz Air. Both parties' managers expressed their approval of this renewal. BGS emphasized its expectations for deepening the cooperation and expressed gratitude to the team. Viz Air, on the other hand, affirmed BGS's service quality and safety guarantee capabilities, and expressed confidence in its future services.
  • In 1996, Gabriel Serrano and his father founded Aeroservicios USA, a company headquartered in Miami, specializing in the refurbishment of used aviation ground support equipment (GSE) and the sale and lease of new/used GSE and accessories. The company has well-equipped facilities. It has reached a deep cooperation agreement with CSI Leasing, which has nearly a decade of experience in GSE leasing. Aeroservicios USA will undertake the refurbishment and resale of GSE that has expired under the lease agreement of CSI Leasing. By leveraging their respective strengths, the two parties will provide a one-stop solution of "high-quality equipment + flexible financing" for global ground support service providers and airlines. The head of CSI Leasing stated that the cooperation will enhance service competitiveness, while Gabriel Serrano is confident about the prospects of the cooperation and will continue to serve as the CEO of Aeroservicios USA.

Equipped with multiple sensors and cameras, the tractors operate in designated airside AV zones under remote monitoring for safety.
  • Oshkosh AeroTech has delivered the 7,000th LEKTRO series equipment, the LEKTRO 88i electric tug without a boom, to its long-term partner, Atlantic Aviation. This equipment is suitable for the precise scheduling of commercial, military and general aviation aircraft. It features environmentally friendly and efficient operation, and is equipped with an upgraded electric drive control, a larger capacity battery and a driver-friendly cockpit layout.
  • SAASA Company will receive ground handling equipment worth a total of 4.2 million US dollars in two batches. This year, 20 pieces of equipment worth 2.2 million US dollars will be delivered, and next year, 10 pieces of equipment worth 2 million US dollars will be delivered.
  • Global step-free aircraft boarding ramp leader Aviramp is on track to hit the £10 million annual sales mark and break its pre-pandemic record, driven by a highly successful third quarter. During July-September, the company secured contracts with nine airports and operators worldwide, including a nearly £500,000 deal with Delta Airlines and a £525,000 order from Australia’s Sunshine Coast Airport. With around 750 of its ramps in global use, Aviramp’s products – featuring non-slip surfaces and solar-powered options – address the aviation industry’s key needs for sustainability and improved passenger experience, especially for those with reduced mobility, while cutting airport turnaround times. The firm, a holder of the Queen’s Award for International Trade, supplies ramps to regions including the Caribbean, South America, Australia, Canada and the UK.
  • Nagpur Airport, which is strategically located in central India, is undergoing a major expansion supported by a ₹7,000 crore (US$ 850 million) investment from GMR, with the goal of enhancing its pivotal position in India’s aviation sector. Goldair Handling India (Nagpur) Private Limited, a fully Greek-owned enterprise, has launched comprehensive ground handling services at the airport to bolster its role as a key connectivity hub in central India, covering ramp operations, passenger and baggage handling, cargo management and other airport support services. Alexandros Fourlas, the company's Vice Chairman, stated that the move aligns with the airport’s growth vision and aims to set new standards for service quality, operational safety and efficiency in India’s fast-growing aviation industry.
  • Safeport provided ground support for the iconic Airbus A380 at Beja Airport for the second time. This service's A380 was operated by a global airline and carried by Hi Fly, arriving in Beja from Dresden, Germany. The Safeport team is responsible for the full range of ground services, including the supply of ground support equipment, aircraft towing, drinking water replenishment, restroom services, aircraft cleaning, and comprehensive airport logistics coordination, etc.
  • NAHCO has secured two long-term ground handling contracts with Afrijet and Air Sierra Leone. Specifically, NAHCO will service Afrijet’s Port Harcourt-Lagos flights for three years until 2027, and provide ground handling services for Air Sierra Leone at Lagos airport under a five-year contract lasting until 2029. Company executives Prince Saheed Lasisi and Olumuyiwa Olumekun highlighted NAHCO’s benchmark-setting service standards and long-term commitment to quality.   • IATA has updated its 2025 cargo and ground handling manuals to keep pace with evolving industry standards, regulatory adjustments, and operator requirements, covering five key documents including DGR, BSR, LAR, AHM and CTM. The revisions involve expanded dangerous goods catalogs, upgraded battery shipping rules, optimized animal transport specifications, updated airport handling protocols, and refined compassionate transportation guidelines, with a total of over 350 changes reflecting the industry’s priorities of digitalisation and sustainability. In addition, IATA’s ONE Source platform offers free industry access to relevant resources, helping to improve the handling efficiency of special cargo shipments.
  • The New Terminal One at New York's John F. Kennedy Airport is scheduled to be put into use next year and will become the world's first airport terminal to adopt a centralized all-electric ground support equipment (GSE) shared fleet, which is provided by TCR and shared by ground staff.
